Hairspray Masterclass
with Olivier Award Winner Leanne Jones!

The St.Ives Musical Theatre Choir are thrilled to welcome Olivier Award Winner, Leanne Jones to join us for a one off exclusive Hairspray masterclass on Thursday 16th February 2023, 19:30-21:00.

Leanne grew up in St.Ives (and was even taught by a couple of our members!) and after training at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, made her professional debut as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End. In the first year of Hairspray's success, Leanne was awarded the Laurence Olivier Award for the Best Actress in a Musical among other awards!

 

Leanne will be teaching us 'You Can't Stop the Beat', giving a Q&A and then performing for us whilst we tuck in to cake!
