Singing with Kate

KATE is the founder of Sing Wimbledon, West End vocal coach, vocal workshop leader and qualified Vocal Health First Aider.

With over 20 years of experience, Kate has taught students of all ages and abilities—from beginners discovering their voice to seasoned professionals preparing for auditions and performances.

 

Now based in Cambridge, she offers private lessons both online and in person in Cambridge and London.

Kate is also the Musical Director of the Sing Space Musical Theatre Choir in Cambridge. With over 120 members, the choir has performed at prestigious venues including Cadogan Hall and the Cambridge Corn Exchange, where they supported Gareth Malone on his UK tour Singalong-a-Gareth in 2023 and 2024.

A graduate of The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (formerly Birmingham School of Acting) with a first-class degree, Kate continued her training at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has since enjoyed a 15-year career as a professional actress in theatre and television, with credits including The Sound of Music and The Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End, as well as Top Boy, Call the Midwife, and Emmerdale on television. Most recently, she played Polly Peachum in The Beggar’s Opera, touring some of Europe’s most stunning opera houses.

Kate’s teaching draws on her extensive training and professional career. She is passionate about helping students build confidence and develop their unique vocal sound. She has worked internationally as both a coach and performer, collaborating with actors and artists in the pop and rock industries to refine their vocal and performance techniques. She also regularly works with West End and screen actors in preparation for auditions and productions.

Kate has a 100% pass rate for ABRSM exams (Grades 1–8 and diploma) and also offers LCM and LAMDA tuition.

 

She is happy to support students preparing for drama school entry.

Singing with Mira!

MIRA is a professional singer and actress and holds a BA and MA in Vocal Studies and Music Education from the Sibelius Academy as well as a Post Graduate Diploma and LRAM in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music.

Since graduating, Mira has performed in musicals and operas both in the UK as well as internationally such as playing Christine Daaé in the Norwegian Premiere of The Phantom of the Opera, Madama Butterfly, Turandot, The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, Jill in Jack and the Beanstalk as well as understudying Christine in the original production of Love Never Dies in London's West End. Mira has also toured the world with crossover duo Opera Girls.

 

 

Mira has been teaching singing alongside her performing career for over 10 years and has frequently taught at both Guildford School of Acting and Mountview. She has also taught singing at various other schools such as Centre Stage Theatre Academy, and Kingston College.Based in Barnes, Mira is able to offer both in person and online private tuition.

 

She draws on her training and professional experience in helping students improve their singing technique, gain confidence, work on their performance as well as their acting through song. She is also well acquainted with drama school entry requirements and is happy to help students with audition prep for schools as well as other auditions. Mira enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities.​Mira can travel out to students homes if required (a small travel fee will apply). ​

Singing with Live!

Live is a professional singer and show artist, with a Contemporary Musical Theatre Bachelor’s Honours Degree from Performers College (previously ICTheatre).

 

Since graduating in 2023, Live has landed several production show contracts as a lead vocalist which has taken her all over Europe. She also gig’s around the London and South Coast area in duos, trios, and ensembles. 

 

Live specializes in contemporary singing - rock, pop, jazz and musical theatre, and she teaches lessons including modern techniques influenced by Estill and Complete Vocal Technique. She also offers acting

through song, performance and audition technique, and repertoire.

 

In her lessons she focuses on developing the student’s individual voice, to enhance and hone in on their personal sound quality. She is experienced with younger students to adults, and welcomes all levels.

Singing with Francesca!

FRANCESCA is a classical singer; she graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Voice from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance and is currently sitting for a Master of Music. Apart from London, Francesca has also studied in Itay, Austria & New York with various vocal professors, from whom she gathered vast amount of knowledge about the vocal performance and vocal pedagogy. 

 

Francesca has a vast performance experience, through a vast range of recitals, concert performances and operatic roles, in venues throughout the UK and Overseas in Carnegie Hall in New York. Operatic

roles include The Gingerbread Witch in Hansel & Gretel (Humperdinck), Baba in Turn of The Screw (Stravinski), Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte (Mozart), Third Lady in The Magic Flute (Mozart), Patrizia in STROZZI! (Barbara Strozzi) and Marcellina in The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart). Francesca also has a background in dance, having trained in Ballet for fifteen years, musical theatre and acting for screen.

Throughout her time in London, Francesca has been teaching voice on individual basis, alongside her studies and performances. Her lessons focus on vocal technique, muscle conditioning, breath management, storytelling, interpretation and languages including Italian, French & German. She is keen to help students prepare for their graded singing exams, Trinity College & ABRSM, as well as prepare for auditions the student might wish to undertake. Her lessons are suitable for all levels and for both children and adults. 

 

Based in London, Francesca is happy to teach from the music room in Wimbledon or at the Student’s home (A small travel fee will apply).

After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Music from Bristol University, Joseph then studied Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with a PGDip in 2010. In 2023, Joseph was awarded Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) for his contribution to the music profession.

Alongside his teaching, Joseph has been working as a professional actor and singer for the past 14 years, in shows such as Phantom of the Opera in London's West End, My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, to name just a few.

He has also performed on some of the world's largest cruise liners with various vocal groups and appears on various concept albums for new musicals.

Singing with Joseph!

Joseph has been a voice teacher for the past 10 years, also working extensively as a Vocal Coach, Arranger and Musical Director. He has experience with all ages and abilities and has worked in some of London's most famous conservatoires, such as LAMDA, Urdang Academy and Emil Dale Academy. He also regularly sees clients who are working professionally in the world of music and theatre.

Joseph prides himself on, and has a real passion for, working with the individual and finding creative solutions to encourage confidence, increased vocal health and performance, and excellent communication. He loves working both technically and on the acting through song journey.

Singing, Acting, Voice and Accent technique with Elizabeth S

Elizabeth (aka Liz) is a professional singer, performer and voice practitioner who loves to share her passion with others! Hailing from the US, she has lived in lovely London for nearly 5 years and is truly at home. 

Having trained at James Madison University in Virginia, she graduated with a BMus in Music Theatre and a Minor in Theatre Performance. She also received her MFA from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Professional Voice Practice. With these two degrees, Elizabeth has explored and further experienced

the art of performance, speech, singing and accent coaching. She is so grateful for the ability to share this knowledge with students and help them experience the joys of their voice and singing. 

When she is not auditioning or performing, she is teaching singing, acting, and accents at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, International College of Musical Theatre, and Nescot College. She has also worked at Manchester MET School of Theatre, Performer's College, and West London College of Music. 

In 2024 she was awarded the UK Global Talent Visa.

She knows the pressures of auditioning for Drama schools, MT schools, Musicals, and other performances and loves to help prepare students to feel their best before their performance opportunity! 

Liz specializes in Musical Theatre, Classical singing styles, and Pop. These styles are always explored with the student through the lens of how the character's journey influences and directs vocal choices for the performer. You could say she's a geek for Acting Through Song. 

Other than education, Liz's performance credits and shows include: Candlelight Choir Soprano (Walt Disney World), Character Performer (Universal Studios), The Little Mermaid, Candide, The Merry Widow, many Cabarets, and many more performances to come.

Singing, Piano and Music Theory with Tracey! 

TRACEY is a graduate of MTU Cork School of Music most recently graduating with an MA in piano performance. Having worked for many years as a vocal coach, accompanist and musical director she has a vast repertoire of skills and experience to offer excellent quality lessons.

Tracey currently works as the head of the piano department in a busy music school in SW London in addition to her work as a singing teacher and accompanist for the school. She prepares many students for exams with RSL, LCM and ABRSM from beginner to diploma level. Tracey also works as a teacher and school accompanist in Esher College.

Since 2018 Tracey has been the musical director the The Academy Performing Arts school and Agency in Essex. During this tenure she has coached many young performers who are now performing in the West End and on UK tours.  Currently students are performing in Matilda and others have recently performed in Tina the musical and Frozen.

Most recent performances for Tracey include The Royal Albert Hall and the Irish Embassy. She is available for lessons in singing, piano and theory of all levels whether for fun or more exam/ performance focused.

Originally From Melbourne, Australia, Thomas relocated to London in 2024. 

A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Thomas has worked as both a performer and creative for festivals and tours around the world, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Wynnum Fringe, Wandsworth Arts Fringe, Anywhere Fringe (Award Winner - Best Musical) and more.

Thomas has performed for Australia's most high profile events, including the Police Academy Carols by Candlelight, the 2020 Toyota AFL Grand Final, The Blue Ribbon Foundation, Veterans Victoria and many more. He is also a regular voice on Joy 94.9 FM radio.

Singing with Thomas!

Beyond performing, Thomas has a passion for community and charity, holding positions as an Ambassador for the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation and Board Member of the Haynes Foundation (launching 2025). Previously, Thomas lectured in singing and music theory at JMC Academy in Melbourne. Currently, Thomas is an Associate Lecturer in Musical Theatre at The University of Chichester in the UK.

Thomas can offer in person at either Mansel Road or from the convenience of your own home. He also offers online lessons.

Singing with Sarah!

SARAH is a professional singer, songwriter, actress, and all-round creative. After training in Musical Theatre at TU Dublin with the Irish College of Music Theatre, and American College Dublin, she moved to London in 2019 for more career opportunities.

Since completing her studies in 2018, and even before, Sarah has been teaching the performing arts to all ages. As well as singing, she has also taught drama, and dance. In 2017 she choreographed a Christmas show for St Kilian's Deutsche Schule in Dublin, Ireland, where she was also an assistant for Artzone (2018-19), as well as a Kindergarten music teacher (2018-19).

Other experience includes a Performing Arts teacher for Jigsaw Arts (3-4 year olds), and working as a drama teacher & assistant for the Emma Coogan School of Speech & Drama (Ireland).

 

Sarah enjoys sharing her passion for singing with her students, as well as helping them grow their vocal skills, confidence, and musicality. Though specialising in Musical Theatre, she is happy to teach all genres. She has experience preparing students for ABRSM and LCM exams.

Singing with Hasmik!

HASMIK is a professional opera singer and passionate singing tutor with years of experience in both performance and education.

An alumna of the prestigious National Opera Studio Young Artist Programme and a graduate of the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she has worked with  the UK’s top professionals and teachers. Hasmik  has performed on prestigious Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Albert Hall etc.

Singing with Harry!

HARRY is a professional singer, musician and actor based in London. Starting his professional training at the BRIT School of Performing Arts, he then went on to graduate in Musical Theatre from the Urdang Academy.

After graduating, Harry went on to work with various UK theatre companies including, UK Productions and Enchanted Entertainment, performing in a variety of stage productions across the country as both an actor and dancer. Harry has also worked as a lead vocalist for Viking Line Cruises.

Alongside his theatre work, Harry has also worked as a recording vocalist and songwriter for a variety of UK artists and international music producers, whose credits include producing for artists such as, Whitney Houston, Jessie J, the Pussycat dolls, Brandy and Years and Years.

Harry has been a dedicated voice teacher for the past 5 years and has frequently taught at the D&B Academy of Performing Arts as well as other London based schools, including introducing musical theatre and voice to the Beckenham Ballet Academy. He has worked with some of the world’s leading voice professionals to further hone his craft and is currently studying under renown voice coach Justin Stoney, of the New York Voice Coaching School under his advance voice teacher’s mentorship programme.

 

Specialising in contemporary signing (pop, rock, R&B) and Musical Theatre, Harry enjoys working with singers of all ages and abilities, working on building not just technique and ability, but also confidence and musicality. Ensuring lessons are both relaxed and engaging Harry is happy to work toward singing exams, audition preparation, repertoire or singing just for fun!

Speech and language Therapy with Elissa!

ELISSA is a contemporary singer, teacher and practising speech and language therapist.  As a working singer herself, Elissa understands the unique demands placed on singers and is passionate about supporting clients with their vocal health and performance goals. Originally from Australia, Elissa graduated from Griffith University in 2019 with a Master's of Speech Pathology and works with clients with diverse communication and swallowing needs in public and private health sectors. She has experience working within a laryngology clinic providing individualistic, tailored advice to professional singers and actors who require rehabilitation following vocal injury or want help building stamina leading up to performances. 

 

Elissa has a Bachelor of Music (Jazz and Popular Music) and a Master’s in Music Studies (Vocal Pedagogy) and regularly performs at venues in a duo, and jazz and pop ensembles. She has worked at institutions including JMC academy coaching tertiary contemporary singers in private lessons and providing group education. Passionate about continuing development, Elissa is a member of organisations including the Australian Voice Association (AVA), the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS), the Laryngology Society of Australasia (LSA), and is registered with the HCPC and RCSLT. Recent highlights include presenting at the AVA and ANATS 2022 conferences in Sydney and Adelaide respectively.
